Lesbian Movies Vs Movies For Lesbians

As a lesbian female it's frequently irritating finding a lesbian film which is a film featuring the lesbian lifestyle or even a camera which includes lesbians as it is primary theme.

It is a Friday evening and you're preparing a peaceful night in with the partner of yours. An excellent dinner along with a film reflecting your daily life isn't too high an aspiration or at best it shouldn't be.

Though a trip to your local video rental or maybe a quick search on the internet for lesbian movies unfortunately turns up an entirely different movie type. Not Movies for movies or brazzers lesbian about films but adult material. Not really the plan

So why has the phrase lesbian movie start to be practically synonymous together with the adult movie industry? Surely a lesbian film is a film about lesbian females and the lifestyle of ours the same as an Indian movie is all about Indians and the lifestyle of theirs.

The problem in fact may be partly contributed to with the gaping absence of films that are great for lesbians in blood circulation. If you're fortunate enough to go to a website which does checklist genuine lesbian films i.e films about the lesbian lifestyle, normally called' lesbian interest' films; you are going to find a brief summary of the same films repeated again and again.

This's not a manifestation of just how great these movies are, actually the vast majority of the people I've observed are very low budget fare. No it's because that's all that's readily available in that market

It causes you to question. If the 10 % statistic is genuine and meaning 10% of all females are lesbian; why is our lifestyle no more noticeable within the film business? Might be there no lesbian movie producers or even writers. Obviously not. We're very conscious of the existence of lesbians in the performing arts.

Can there be a lack of attention in these films of all the lesbian community. Once again, I feel not. The quantity of considerations in the lesbian forums when a lesbian film is released is simply stupendous.

Or perhaps when a character in a television show has some lesbian encounter that's obliquely alluded to. The discussion boards are buzzing, the blogs updated and lesbians everywhere hurry towards the television show in a desire for more. Plus just like a dangled carrot, the lesbian story is murdered and there's a go back to awaiting the following lesbian subplot in virtually any movie or show. No there certainly is a fantastic market for lesbian interest films.

And so while we wait and wish to see, I assume it is to that lesbian flick that really in no way mentions the word lesbian,' though it's a lesbian film, really!' for the 20th period. Or perhaps is it probably the 21st time?
